This one’s an oddity. Advertised in Boys’ Life magazine in 1982, this small block offers up metal miniatures for use with fantasy roleplaying games. The ad is clearly for a retailer of some sort, but the name “Alnavco” doesn’t ring any bells at all.

  1. Very cool. I got into miniature-based games around 1998, but there were still quite a few late 80s-early 90s moulds kicking around at the time. Sculpting and production techniques have evolved in leaps and bounds since then, but there’s undeniably a crude charm to a lot of the older stuff.
