Bionic Friends and Stretch Armstrong in 1977
December 8, 1977. Hey, kids! Does it really get any more seventies than Kenner’s Six Million Dollar Man and Stretch Armstrong toys in the same advertisement? $7.77 for either the Bionic Man or Bionic Woman action figures sounds pretty cheap, but then you realize that’s almost the same price as a jacket and it makes you start to wonder about the expense of toys in the seventies. Either that or K-Mart had one hell of a cheap jacket on sale!
