Ro-Gun Robot Newspaper Ad from 1984
We already know that cheap transforming robot toys were the hit of Christmas in 1984, and with this 1984 newspaper ad we can see that parents were spending as much as $10 for one of the very bad toys: The Ro-Gun transforming robot! I have one of these and can report that it is every bit as bad as you would expect from a gun robot transforming toy.
